Basic User Tutorial
Here you learn how to install the software and model first processes, hands on. For more detailed background or theoretical knowledge, please read the according chapter “Introduction” and “Relevant Tools”.
Overview
- Learn the basics by following the example below
- But if you want, you can also check the separate quick guide.
- Or the videos, which are currently in German only.
Creating a fictional pizza delivery process
This example might seem arbitrary, but because AristaFlow highly supports incremental process development, this little example could theoretically be the starting point for a more complex process used in the field. Usually one would first try to examine what the process consists of, either when mapping an already existing one or creating a completely new one. This could be done by questionnaires or interviews with employees / customers. We will omit that step and instead risk a non optimal procedure, relying on what the author thinks how a pizza delivery might function.
Describing the process details in prose:
- Customer orders a pizza
- Clerk takes order and informs pizzaiolo
- Pizzaiolo makes pizza
- Driver delivers pizza or customers fetches it herself in exchange for money
